- Being born and raised in a suburb of Los Angeles, I have had exposure to multiple cultures and ethnicities.
- As part of my college career, I took a diversity in film class that sparked more exploration into various similar topics.
- As part of my volunteer work promoting safe sex interactions for all identities, I have had I.D.E.A. (inclusivity, diversity, equity, accessibility) training.

Who Am I

I have been in the entertainment industry for ten-plus years now. During this time, I have been lucky enough to experience a lot this fun and ever-changing field has had to offer. My interest in entertainment started in high school and continued through college, where I achieved three associate degrees in directing, editing, and producing films. I liked it so much that I decided to continue my education and complete a bachelor's. Not knowing when enough is enough, I am now pursuing my Master's Degree.
My work in the film industry started as a production assistant and grip. I grew into producing podcasts and live web shows and helming the camera department on various projects, from industrials to feature narratives. I have learned many things on set that are hard to replicate in a classroom. This has given me valuable knowledge for new and upcoming filmmakers. My experiences throughout the entertainment industry have given me a unique and expansive understanding of the challenges that people entering might be facing. I have taken this and started teaching and guest speaking. My educational philosophy is built on understanding failure and learning from it. Some people have incredible natural talent, and some need to go through trial and error for the latter. Having an open and stress-free learning environment can build solid and long-lasting skills. All of this, plus where I was born, how I was raised, and the people around me for most of my life, has given me exposure to different cultures and ways of life.
